EV Educational Film Shoot
The Challenge:
BMW needed short, lifestyle-driven educational films to make EV charging feel simple, relatable, and inspiring. The existing BMWUSA site was sleek but static, often showing cars in isolation or stiff model shots.
The Approach:
I scripted a series of ~30s films blending education with lifestyle storytelling and sold the work in with my art director partner-in-crime. On set, I protected the narratives through last-minute pivots while collaborating with crew and clients. Bonus: I got to experience the EV lineup myself (very cool).

So many people are on the cusp of buying an EV, but there are known barriers.
Designed to demystify EV ownership and make adopting the electric lifestyle approachable, clearing up common misconceptions while keeping the content fresh and stylish.
The resulting content transformed BMWUSA’s EV Charging page with relatable energy – driving 93K visits in June 2024 alone, with 85% of viewers watching 75%+ of each video.

Why It Matters To BMW: This wasn’t just about showing cars. It was about showing how EVs fit into people’s lives. The content helped reframe BMW’s EV story from technical to human, and the numbers prove it worked.
Why It Matters To Me: Film shoots are where the magic happens. I scripted BMW’s EV lifestyle films and joined the crew on set – long, intense, and wackadoodle days that bonded our team and brought me closer to clients I’d worked with for years.
